I've had good luck selling modded vehicles through a site called Mautofied.com. I sold both my 99 Silverado on 37's and my 06 2500HD on 37's to people from WAY out of my area for what I wanted out of both. Worth a shot. I'd keep it though personally.
I had an '01 that I bought cheap and flipped. The original carpet was NASTY. Run over it with a pressure washer and the 40 degree tip. Then allow it to air dry. It made 10 year old carpet look brand new.
Shopping exhaust for my '09 Burb. Anyone first-hand know the difference between the model years. Most manufacturers are listing 07-08, and 09-11 as two different systems. I've seen some deep discounts on 07-08's and if they can be modded to fit(Hanger relocation) , I'll jump on one of them.
Threw on the summer wheels and thought I'd shoot some pics. Of course the weather wouldn't cooperate so they're a little overcast. Biggest change is the factory 17's came off and the LTZ 20's I had on my 2000 went on. Gave them a few coats of Matte Black to freshen them up. Running the 2"...
I've got the LTZ 20's in a matte black finish on my 09 Suburban. I'll try to snap some pics this week and get them up. I get comments (some bad) all the time.
Here's my 09 Suburban on LTZ 20's. I'm running 305/50/20 Falken's. Only rubbing I had was the bumpout in the rear fender liner for the autoride rods. I heated them with a heat gun and massaged them back so they wouldn't rub.
Check out the highlighted thread above for some precautions. I'm not a huge fan of power-washing under the hood. I like to pre-soak with the simple green, scrub down anywhere that may need it, gentle rinse being mindful of electrical components, and then dry and dress the plastics as needed.
I bought the 2" "Leveling Coils" from McGaughy's. Absolutely love it leveled, but they've sagged a little. I'll most likely be adding a spacer to bring it back up an inch to level with the front. With the 305's the wheel wells are filled out nicely.
Might know some of you from some other forums. I'm new to this one and it seems to be more focused for my current needs.
Currently running a 2009 Suburban LT1 Colormatched Bowties and some stock 20's with 305/50/20 Falkens. 2" McGaughy's drop coils to level it out in the rear.
Some...
Here's mine. Didn't do too much drop because of the tire size, just 2" rear coils to level it out with the front. Running 305/50/20 on a set of stocker 20's.
