HARD 1-2 SHIFT
Mine has had a shudder with 1-2 about 33% of the time for the past year but nothing hard. There's a lot on google about our tranny's 1-2 shifts so it's gotta be a weak point. I can't find a definite answer for mine so my mechanic wants to just rebuild it for $1200- adam p

2007 5.3 coil pack question
a little hiccup in my Avalanche during idle so I figure I'll do coils and plugs (did a full tune up in Jan). I've looked online and everything says it fits our motors, this true? Then I tried finding the oem Delco part number with No luck. Just trying to order a set with plugs on eBay but don't...- adam p

Reset to factory defaults and did lock twice and it started via the remote. Not sure what happened.... Thanks guys- adam p

It's turned on which is what leads me to believe it has the option, key also has the symbol. Going to attempt to restore to factory defaults and see if that does anything- adam p

I'll grab one tomorrow in the light. Has a rancho sticker but definitely more than a 4" lift. Local guy with the exact truck (wheels,tires, year, color, options) pulled me over last week with a 9" full throttle lift and has about an inch on me. Would the vin indicate options that came with the...- adam p

07 Avalanche with 8" lift - remote start?
bought the truck used so I don't know the lift brand but it's an 07 ltz with most options. Active suspension is unplugged due to the replacement of shocks.. Would that cause the factory remote start to be inoperable? I see remote start as an option in the dash menu but never gotten to use it...- adam p

Ya that's what everyone says, either belltech or bilsteins. If the belltech guy says the bilsteins > current belltechs, I'll have to go with them- adam p

Searched, didnt find my answer... Looking to replace the current oem units. i do a lot of highway driving with a couple hundred pounds of stuff for work. truck is leveled in the rear with springs and on 24s with 35 series tires. heres my current choices Kyb excel-g...- adam p

Alignment is on. The clunk is just annoying. You have u255 in 24s correct? I was just debating on doing mine in white. Looks good man- adam p

Just called my dealership regarding the above bulletin and she looked up my vin and said there's nothing that gm would cover. I'm sure that that's my problem and I'm not in the mood for Chevy to replace and charge for everything possible. Any suggestions guys?- adam p

Awesome. I'm assuming this will be taken care of regardless of mileage? Wasn't too happy when they told me to kick rocks at 70k with 2 cracks in the dashboard- adam p

07 tahoe with a clunk
I have an 07 with about 100k on it. For the past 30k or so miles I've had a slight clunk noise. It happens on two occasions only, 1) when I pull in or out of my driveway or over speed bumps & 2) after coming to a complete stop, about 5 seconds later, CLUNK. I feel like its coming from the back...- adam p

I believe the warnings came after a car wash and they occur about half the time I'm driving. I've checked online a bit but it's mostly a hybrid issue. Truck is an 07 Tahoe lt3 with 70k and zero mods. Any ideas guys?- adam p
