After working abit on the truck today found the motor that moves the seat front and back was bad doing some electrical checks. I also know it took out the seat switch out as well must have melted the contacts. When I jumped the power out from the plug at the switch it was a direct short. Now how... -

Fan speed switch.
Hey guys just want to follow up and say thanks for the advice. It was the resistor pack, preety much melted. Got one from the dealer for 20 bucks on a favor owed back....Nice,,, it was 84 bucks! The new style is based on a ceramic body that can handle the heat way better. -

Hey guys sorry wasnt around to answer. I did check the fuses all seem fine and the motor does not hum or anything. I really didnt get to into it cause the wife has been really busy and so have I. Thanks for the reply all and when I do figure it out will let you guys know.. -

Well it seems there is an electrical gremlin on the loose here. First the fan switch now a few dash bulbs and the climate controll lights, and now the DR seat does not work. I did check the fuse and they seem fine..So again I ask for your knowledge before I dive further in any ideas???? :hmm: -

Hey guys, before I even dig into the dash I was wondering if this has been discussed before. The fan speed switch olny works on high and no other speed. I was thinking a loose plug or somthing. Any thoughts, I am also over GMT400 so was hoping to stay in the same family..lol -

Dash Cluster and radio question,
Hey All new to the site, my wife has an 03 Tahoe and was complaining about the dash cluster lights would unexpectedly all light up as if your turning the key on while your driving. It since happened to me but goes back to normal as fast as it happens with no effects. What would cause this? and...- Silvi
