Hey guys, before I even dig into the dash I was wondering if this has been discussed before. The fan speed switch olny works on high and no other speed. I was thinking a loose plug or somthing. Any thoughts, I am also over GMT400 so was hoping to stay in the same family..lol

Sounds like the resistor for your blower motor. Very common as I have replaced mine twice. It is under the glove box, take the shroud off and it is about $30 at your local auto parts store. I keep a spare now as MN winters I need defrost.

Yes definitely ,I had same problem. It was the resister . My local autozone had one for me next day but it was $60. It was a simple swap out.

They know you need it so they can charge what they want. Price it out at a dealer and you will really be shocked.

Hey guys just want to follow up and say thanks for the advice. It was the resistor pack, preety much melted. Got one from the dealer for 20 bucks on a favor owed back....Nice,,, it was 84 bucks! The new style is based on a ceramic body that can handle the heat way better.
