Got the new battery in and all issues seem to be sorted out. Nothing like having the battery fail in the middle of an electronics job! Thanks for the suggestions and input. -

I'm pretty sure I used the top left terminal of the 4-way "UPFIT" device in the Center Instrument Panel Utility Block (underneath the instrument panel to the left of the steering column). Of those 4 posts, one was 12 volt constant, and the others were switched, so I picked the switched terminal... -

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I did take the lead from one of the switched terminals on the UPFIT block. If I fried a BCM, would I be able to replace that myself, or is a dealer required (to input VIN info, etc)? Is there no way to "reset" it other than replacing it? I'll be replacing... -
