    Thanks for the advice, half shafts comin' out next week for rebuild. Ouch...sometimes it sucks to be in Canada...even www.rockauto.com has them for $58. At least it will be back on the road within 24 hrs. Tony.

    99 Yukon, 5.7, 240,000 KMS, 4wd with "Auto" setting for xfer case. When driving and turning sharp corners I have sound coming from the LF wheel....sounds like someone crumpling up aluminum foil or a thin tin can...only happens when turning and moving. I through CV joints, so I jacked it up...

    My Yukon is a 99. The lines have AL ends (and flex in the middle) and they are threaded into the rad and to the adapter thing on the block that that oil filter screws onto. T.
