    Likely culprit is bad oil pressure sending unit. My mechanic was able to replace it without removing the intake manifold...his trick is to deflate the front tires to allow easier access to the top back of the motor.

    The other big difference is you get the 3.08 rear end as opposed to the 3.42 Performance is noticeably slower. Drive it and make sure you are comfortable with the pickup.

    On the 10, I used the V1 hardwire kit and tapped into the black yellow wire on the passenger side of the dash. On the 08, I'm using the mirrortap. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

    On 07-14 there is switched power in the mirror. All you do is insert the pins into the plug.

    I'm using the Blendtap for my V1 in the 08. Use it hard wired to the black/yellow wire in my 2010 Yukon. The Blendtaps are less than $20 on Amazon.

    Seat Belts are under warranty for either 6 or 7 years. I'd be headed to the dealer to find out why it happened and to get the belt replaced.

    Crate motor is fine, but if you put one of them in front of a high mileage transmission that hasn't been rebuilt, you will likely have problems......

    Since when does a GMC dealer not work on a Chevy? Had warranty work done for years on my GMC at the local Chevy store. Never an issue..... Also had work done at the Cadillac store....they have nicer loaners.

    As long as the service advisor and dealership acknowledge the issue I don't think you will need an attorney. GA lemon law is pretty clear. They get 3 tries...You notify them in writing......they get one more try. If still not fixed the buy back process begins.

    Georgia lemon law gives them 3 attempts to fix it. Additionally O.C.G.A. Section 10-1-783(d) requires them to give you a detailed repair order every time they attempt a repair. I'd get a copy of yesterday's RO (closed out) as soon as you can. They know that by "leaving the ticket open"...

    Oil Pressure Sensor gone bad: Remove intake plenum or no?

    My shop was able to replace the sensor on my 08 5.3 without removing the intake. One trick is to deflate the front tires...the couple inches that the vehicle is lowered and tilted forward makes it easier to get in there and see what you are doing.
