    thanks for the quick response guys, im kind of leaning towards the head gasket myself. I thought it was that in the first place but i figured i would try to save some money and hope its just the intake gasket. i guess ill be pulling the heads off this weekend. how are these head about cracking...

    99 tahoe 6in sus and 3in body, 38 inch mickies. last thing i did to it was rebuild the tranny and change the upper and lower intake gaskets to try an stop a coolant leak, still burning coolant so i guess pulling the heads this weekend :emotions122:

    just got my hands on a 99 tahoe. 6 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body. 18 inch panther rims with 38 inch mickey thompsons. needs a few minor things but the way i see it if your using it as a toy you will always have to fix things. just thought id share since im new. any tips on these...

    i just bought a 99 tahoe with a 6inch sus and a 3 inch body lift, i took it out to go play a few days ago and when i put it in 4x4 hi or low once it gets into a slight bind i can hear a clicking noise. could this be because the cv shafts are slipping out or something? im new to the 4 wheel drive...
