'97 60k original miles. 33 general grabbers, body lift, blocks, torsion. In the middle of de-badging, removing moldings and powder coating a smoothie bumper. Bushwackers and more lift to come.
I take it then that just because it had a factory installed 7 round doesn't mean its controller ready.
I thought 7 round was only used for trailers with brakes? Otherwise wouldn't it of been wired with a 4 flat?
Hey guys, I inherited a 97 4Dr Tahoe with 60k not long ago, and I'm confused about adding a brake controller.
I believe it came factory with the hitch and a seven round plug. My grandma bought it new and didn't do any towing so I'm sure she didn't have it installed later.
Some places I have...
Tell me if I'm wrong but just replacing the keys is going to have the same affect on the suspension as cranking your bars. All the new keys are going to do is just twist the torsion a little further.
97 3"blocks, torsion cranked to were there is a 1/4" of threads left. Running 33/12.5/18 18x9. The only rubbing issues I have is with the air dam. I think it looks great only a slight rake. Stock front shocks, rear shocks from a 96 Chevy pickup. Roughly 3" longer. Only picture I have right now.
