I know this is "kicking the can on down the road" but I only need a simple and straight forward answer. Please don't advise me on 6in lifts and "Lambo" doors.

1999 Yukon SLT 5.7VT stock

Cranking the torsion bar?
Do I need new keys or just crank the ones I have?

Do I need any other parts other than U-bolts?
Pitman arm, U-joints, drive shaft, etc?

What tire can I fit under 2" crank/block lift in tire inches?

Are these good?

2 inch crank will wear more on the cv shafts and everything else on the steering components. Most likely its going to be 285/75/16 if your using the stock wheels. If you do end up cranking the keys up, get an alignment. More people will chime in eventually... Good luck with everything man.

you should be abe to crank 2inch with stock bars. mine are worn and i got an 1inch. i have 2inch rough country blocks with thes tock shocks. the tires all depend on the wheels really. every setup is different. i have 35s on 15x10s with 2inch block 1 crank and 3inch bl. going to raise the front an inch more with different torsion bars

a 285 or 305 will fit on the stock wheels. Crank the stockers, they should be enough and add a block to level the rear

My plan was to use 2 inch blocks in the rear with a torsion bar crank up front and 285/70/17's.

I hope it works and everything fits (fingers crossed) considering the wheels are sitting in my garage and the blocks are due to arrive any day now . . .

97 3"blocks, torsion cranked to were there is a 1/4" of threads left. Running 33/12.5/18 18x9. The only rubbing issues I have is with the air dam. I think it looks great only a slight rake. Stock front shocks, rear shocks from a 96 Chevy pickup. Roughly 3" longer. Only picture I have right now.

That was my experience yes. I pulled the shocks from an un lifted rig at the junk yard.

hmm ill have to look into that. hows your clearance upfront with the droop stops nd such wiht 3inch crank? im temped to crank more and swap to 3inch block since i have a lot more room to crank with the truck bars now compared to my worn tahoe bars. did you replace the front shocks? how does it ride. when mine was cranked too much the truck would bounce but it lookd like it was atleast an inch higher up front than the 2inch block out bakc. i love the look but not ride. i think i was cranked so much the bars twisted more then they should. i had to do like 8turns to get em off the stops and ride better im close to the stops now. thougt about bj flip and cranking more and 3inch block
