    From what I remember from doing mine the trans. wasn't in the way. It will give you more room to move around though. I hope your install goes better than mine did!

    Drl problem

    I changed the drl sockets on my 02 tahoe. And replaced the bulbs at the same time with regular bulbs. Mabye a week later they started to melt. So after a little research I found out that it's the bulbs that melt the sockets. So I replaced them with leds. Haven't had a problem since.
