Im in the same boat here. Trying to get the rear as low as I could without cutting. So far I have it about 1/2" from the top of the rear tire. Im working with BOA but would like to come up with a diferent setup. So far the problems I see are pan hard mounts will hit frame where cabin meets the...
Man i read this way to late, Im in Corpus and would have bought those seats. I have captains alread but look like crap and bought front seats that already match those. WHYYYYY!!!!!!
@ WHITEOUT I'll be installing them next weekend hopefully so we'll see how that goes. Looks like they should work just fine and give me much more clearance.
@ Sicko Yes sir the front tucks pretty good. Up close it looks like more, my yard slopes down from the driveway so you can't tell.
Not much of an update but I was forced to redo the back quicker than I thought. One of the sleeve bags that was used pulled apart so I took it apart and made new cups and used the second set of bags I got as spares back there. Made the cups too tall so now it's high in the back and need to cut...
Intended to notch the frame already and as far as bag mounts, I was thinking of going with behind axle brackets. The people who had originally started this build for me said they would move my gas tank and move the bars inside and put bag on bar. But after having the truck for three months and...
No, need to do that still but even if I did trailing arms are maxed out against the frame. Was gonna order the djm kit with the trailing arm brackets but that's all I'm gonna use so don't wanna waste money might just try and make some custom bar mounts instead.
Haven't installed the shocks yet. I have the parts from ekstensive just haven't had time. Here's a pic of it aired completely out. That's as far down as the back goes right now.
Went custom, no kits. Used a standard torsion bar kit, DJM lower arm modified and a set of denominator II #2500 bags. Lays on the front cross member now cause the back doesnt go any lower. Have no more travel room for the lower trailing arms and need to cut the bump stop material off...
Bagging my 01 Tahoe Regency, have the front already finished and the back started. It's BOA and doesn't get low for crap. Looking for info on what needs to be done to get it as low as possible without cutting the floor out. Looking for you guys that have done this already and know what needs to...
Bought a set of seats today dirt cheap from an 04 Yukon XL and I want to use them in my 01 Tahoe Regency edition. Problem is the seats I had before were only power back and forth and to tilt the seat up and down. The Yukon seats are full power. Does anyone know if I can just rewire the harness...
Just traded off my 03 trailblazer for a 01 Tahoe Regency. Needed more room for stereo equipment and it was a lucky straight up trade. Found this site googling for repair tips and so far it's very informative. Hope to learn a lot about my "new to me" truck and get some ideas on mods.
