    I spent about two weeks calling all the salvage yards in my area looking for a factory fan set up with no luck finding one in decent shape. So I just went on Amazon and ordered a brand new Dorman 620-653 replacement set for $160. I figure the extra $35 was worth it for a new one......

    Doesn't that pump sit in a tray? Have you been over any huge bump lately? My first reaction is maybe the pump came loose and is floating in the tank, sucking air when the level get low enough.

    I've been buying Flomasters since way back when. I used to live Near Santa Rosa and they are still in the same place they were back in the early 90's. I've never had a bad experience with them.
