Hey guys I'm new to the forum here and I have a 04 Tahoe and am loving it. I work for a company who isn't a vendor here and they let me and my friend design a aluminum radiator w/ efans along with trans and oil cooler for it. And my question to all of you guys would be is there anyone else who is interested in this? Now I can't give the name or details away as I have the only prototype but i can tell some of the benefits so far. So id like to here from some of you guys w/questions and or comments so I can get it into production.

Any pictures of this setup?

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post any pics up online (for now) because this is currently not in production. But what I can tell you is this is a direct bolt in, and holds an extra 1gal of coolant roughly, the fans are 6000cfm and my temp runs 185deg no matter how hard I drive it. It runs better actually being cooler.

Sounds interesting. If it holds an extra gallon of coolant, it's got to be bigger. I'm assuming it's deeper, so will it fit in the stock hole or are there adapter plates? Single pass or double pass?

The radiator is the same height and width but is 2.5in deep and it is a high flow 2 core. It fits in the stock location, barely, and mounts on the same rubber grommets the factory one does. I wanted to keep the modifying of the chassis to a minimum and since the radiator gets replaced it would come with a tranny cooler since they were integrated from factory.

So I can prolly envision something like a Griffin or an Afco with a cooler in one tank then. And the Efan set up? Single or dual fan?

The radiator is actually just a radiator so its all coolant and the tranny has a external cooler. The E-fans are dual 16" pulling 6000cfm and its non pcm controlled but they have a controller so once its dialed you never touch it again.

Computer rendering or anything? How are we supposed to judge this if all we have to go by is your "description"?
Also, how is the fan (or fans) wired up? Standalone controller or does the PCM control it?
Edit: just saw your post above about the standalone controller.
