I just bought a new 2009 LTZ and the black plastic side mirror housings just look cheap to me. My Tahoe is silver birch metallic. Are the housings painted body color underneath the chrome caps? If so I'd like to remove the caps and put the lower chrome caps on them. Otherwise, has anyone had...
