Thinking about buying a 96 Suburban...
Almost everything is cheap/easy to fix on the 96-99's. cooling system issues are the #1 problem, not just intake leaks. The heater hose fittings on the intake are prone to leakage, as are radiator/heater cores. I wouldn't consider these deal breakers, just the nature of the beast when dealing...- nitro_rat

any 80's technology guru's out there?
I got am iPod adapter for the factory stereo at Best Buy. Plugs into the back of the radio (where the tape deck plugs in). About $175 IIRC. They had it on the shelf. I ran the cable into the console. Works good.- nitro_rat
