Help-2024 Tahoe Stalled

Hi all,

I purchased my first ever GM product and got a 2024 Chevy Tahoe LT (5.3L) in January. It has 12,000 miles on it and has been a good ride until today when I was driving down the road and the car began to stutter and then the engine just died. The radio and infotainment system still worked, but when I tried to start the vehicle it would grind but not start. I had the vehicle towed to the nearby dealer tonight and will have to call them in the morning.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening with a brand new Tahoe?

What is the cause of this issue and what is the fix?

So many new components and accessories and tech added as each year goes on and so many things to go wrong. Getting that special "who who ha ha tickler" was the last draw.

Almost every day, a member has a tale of whoa about their new GM SUV dying. I feel for ya, I do.

Man, I really love my 2005 Tahoe Z71 more and more every day.

I am really just looking for others who may have had this issue and what the diagnosis was and potential fix if there was a fix. Is it an engine issue? A fuel pump issue? Something else?

What is the cause of this issue and what is the fix?

the grinding noise is not a good sign, but there have been fuel pump control issue's and internal engine failures, I am sure the dealer will let you know which is the case
