I have a 2.5" TTC front, 1.5" rear lift with Airlift 1000 setup and adjustable panhard bar from Spohn Performance I cant find the company that made the front lift anymore but it has a spacer for the top of the coil assembly and also one for the bottom.
I finally got some new tires on the Tahoe and wanted to share my thoughts, reasons, and experience. My wife's DD is this 2011 Z71 Tahoe. When we first got it I put on a 2.5" level kit on the front and then added 1.5" and Air lift 1000's to the rear. I've been waiting for the BFG A/T's to wear...
NC Tahoe,
Here are the photos you requested. I never did go back and shorten up the hanger like I was going to. The only changes I made from the way this product shipped from SLP was to leave my factory pipe slightly longer than their instructions suggested and I moved the hanger forward...
NCTahoe,
We live on a dirt road and the truck is pretty dirty right now. I tried to see if I could get a picture of where the bracked used to be but its too dirty. I'll try to wash it this week and get some better photos.
Does anyone know how hard adding the driver memory seat function would be to a 2011 Tahoe that did not come with this option? I'm assuming at a minimum the switch and a reprogram would need to happen?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I've had my 2011 Z71 tahoe for a few years now and I have noticed this issue more in the last few months.
When in a paved parking lot and dry conditions when I turn the wheel not all the way to full lock but enough to get out of a parking spot the front starts bouncing and the tires slip...
Since winter is hear for most of us this got me thinking. Will these catch cans freeze? When I drain mine the bottom is all water. Anyone experienced this or have any thoughts or comments?
Well I finally broke down and a SLP Resonator Delete for my 2011 Z71 Tahoe.
This did not fit right out of the box because of the Z71 fender flares. The new dual tip contacted the bottom of the flare. I ended up cutting the bracket off the provided pipe and moving it up towards the front of...
Well It looks like the interior light for the rotary style headlight switch has gone out in my 2011 Tahoe. I have searched here and on other sites and not heard of anyone having this issue or having to change the bulb if that's even possible. Has anyone else had the same issue? If so how do you...
I had a very similar experience. At my first drain I got hardly anything out of the catch can and it looked more like gas than oil. I think I posted a photo here a few pages back. I was concerned until i drained it the next few times and finally started getting more out of it and the color...
Into the top , down through the filter system and out through the side to the throttle body/intake .

I recently installed a Spohn Performance Adjustable Panhard or Track Bar and wanted to give a review for others.
When I was installing some mudflaps on my '11 Tahoe over the winter I noticed the that rear axle was about 1/2" offset towards the passenger side. I do not think that this was...
i don't think that's the issue as the recall notice describes that it is only noticed by the driver when the rear axle locks up. I will ask the dealership about this just in case next time i'm in there.
yes this will work for lowering or lifting. I contacted the vendor a while ago and they said it will work for either. When I get mine in I will measure and see how much shorter or longer it will go over the stock setup so others know.
I have had my 2011 Z71 Tahoe non autoride for over a year now and have very few complaints. I have added a 2.5" lift to the front and a 1.5" rear lift with shock extensions and an air lift 1000 kit. Other than the lift parts and a set of factory size BFG A/T it's all stock.
We travel...
I have had my catch can installed for about 3000 miles and drained it for the first time this weekend and was very surprised at what I found for 2 reasons. The amount of fluid was just over a tablespoon. I was expecting more. also it looked more like gasoline than oil but it did smell more like...
Any thoughts on trimming to run 305's? The wheels that I plan to go with are available in 4.5" or 5" backspacing. Factory is 5.5" so i'm thinking about going with the 5" and the width is the same as factory. That should mean the wheel will stick out .5" further than stock and with a 305 that...
I always thought that was the radio antenna in the rear passenger side window? Is it not? I havent had the Tahoe over a winter yet so I havent used the rear defrster to see if it defrosts more than just the rear widow
