    Denali P0172/P0175

Recently purchased a 2010 Yukon Denali, 138k. Ran great, near perfect condition. The temperature really dropped last week, and one morning it threw several codes. P0101, P0172, P0175, P0446. Initial cold start is rough, sometimes dies. Once it's warm, runs completely perfect. I replaced the...

Back in the GM family...2010 Denali

About a year ago, we traded off our 2004 Tahoe Z71 for a 2013 F-150. Loved the truck, but had several issues. Our Tahoe had 200k and I pulled a 5,000 lb camper several thousand miles without issue. Yesterday we brought home a 2010 Yukon Denali AWD. 138,000 miles, near mint condition. The only...

No reverse, grinding in neutral/park- transfer case?

I replaced the transfer case shift motor today, and changed the transfer case fluid as well. No metal shavings. All working as it should.

No reverse, grinding in neutral/park- transfer case?

I have been a forum floater for a few years but never a reason to post. But I've ran into a issue that has me stumped. I have a 2004 Tahoe Z71 with 186k. The other morning I put the Tahoe in reverse and nothing happened, all I could hear was a hum. I pushed it out of the drive, and drove 20...

    Low Oil Pressure, Engine Clatter

Just an update on my situation, it ended up being the pick up tube o-ring. Replaced the oil pump while I was there. Engine now runs 40 psi at idle and 60 psi on the highway. Thanks shofzr for the pictures!

    Low oil pressure 05 suburban

I recently had low oil pressure issues on my '05. The problem with mine was at idle, it would slowly drop down to nearly 0 psi and the engine would starting knocking. Luckily, I caught it in time. I tore mine down yesterday, discovered the pick up tube oring was split. While I had it tore...

    Low Oil Pressure, Engine Clatter

Thanks for the pictures. How hard was the crankshaft pulley to deal with?

    Low Oil Pressure, Engine Clatter

I guess I should have been more clear.... the engine only sounded horrible just for a few seconds, I was able to get it shut down right away. Started it back up and kept the rpms up and it sounds perfectly fine assuming I keep the engine idled up. It seems to me like it'd be the inlet tube...

    Low Oil Pressure, Engine Clatter

I recently purchased a second Tahoe last week, it's 2005 LT 4x4 with right around 180,000 miles. Appeared to be a well cared for 2 owner, in very nice condition. Always had synthetic oil ran through it. While test driving, it maintained 50 PSI no problem. One week later, and about 750 miles...
