On my recent road trip from Chicago to New York, my 07 Denali averaged 14.6 mpg at an average of 75 mph. City driving nets me an average of 10.4 mpg here at Chi-town. :(
I got my 07 Denali (with all options) last July for 27k with 65k miles on the odometer. At least powertrain warranty is up to 100k or 2 more years whichever comes first.
I too have an OEM 20" wheels though not as bad but small rust stains spread throughout the wheels. I spoke with GM customer service and told me to have it inspected at the dealership and if warranted they will replace all 4 wheels. I have an appointment this weekend and let you know how it goes.
To turn off the dots, press the menu button then select the nav tab. Look at the buttom of the screen and turn off the off-road mode. This will make the dots disappear, they are useful when you are on a trail or terrain that has not been mapped. It shows you the path you previously took.
