The older CompVT is almost half the price of the CompRT, and I know it worked. Depth isn't much of an issue if I need to run a spacer like even the majority of even the shallow subs require. That would be my reasoning behind going back to the CompRT.
So far, only the MB Quart was small enough...

I seriously considered doing exactly this. I'm just unsure if I'm willing to permanently modify my interior panel like that. I guess I'd rather not have to but I'd use this route as a last resort.
