Head gasket YAY!!!
Just did my intake gaskets a couple mths ago. The gaskets are plastic and they crack and leak. Your lucky its leaking outside the motor and not in. Do the fuel pressure regular while your in there too.- Enem178

Thanks!! What can I say about her.. Its a 97 with 99k on her. I actually just got done doing the intake manifold gaskets a couple mths ago. I upgraded to the new style gaskets with the metal. I replaced the regulator while I was in there too. I have pix of that install if anyone needs them. I...- Enem178

Yeah I used to have another GM that would do the same thing. After a minute or so it would stop. I asked somebody about it back then and he told me that condensation was building up in the drum and that was causing the lock up. I couldn't see how but I couldn't come up with anything else...- Enem178

Do u notice it when the truck is parked for an extended time during a hard rain?? It could also be that they are adjusted to tight and when u apply the brake during a hard stop they lock up prematurely.- Enem178

WOW!! Im not used to the rapid response!!! Ill will definitely double check my fluid. I should also say that when i'm making the turn, the wheels aren't at full lock. Also it dosent make the sound when the truck is stationary. Again thanks for the quick reply!!- Enem178

I'm coming over from another forum and hopefully this forum gets more traffic. Anyway, I have a almost squealing like noise when ever I make left hand turns. Its worst if the street is bumpy. It almost sounds like tire squeal but it only happens on left hand turns and the sound actually changes...- Enem178
