I had my tq converter replaced back in August '17 (see page 1 of this thread). Nearly 4 months and 7k miles later and it drives perfect still....just like day one when I picked it up back in June 2015. On a side note, one of my comrades at work has a '15 Silverado 1500 with the 6.2L/8speed...
Yes, my problem started off as a 'now and again' problem that got progressively worse over the past 5k miles. It was so progressive that I wasn't sure if it was getting worse or if it was my imagination. Then my brother borrowed my Yukon to move some furniture (shocker), and returned it with...
My '15 Denali XL is at the dealership right now.....new torque converter getting installed. Have had a progressive problem just like you described for the past couple thousand miles. Took it in yesterday and sure enough it's the tq converter. Currently 23k miles. Good luck.

Is this correct? I'm a fan of the 22" GMC...

I have not been able to find a '15 with the dark atmosphere interior....All I have been able to see is cocoa/shale. I am wanting a Quicksilver Metallic Denali, so naturally the black interior is what most would go with. But, I still would like to see the cocoa/dark atmosphere. Is the dark...
Nice of you to get this on video in case you can't get it to replicate at the dealership. This appears to be fairly widespread, hopefully, they will have this fixed asap.
Michael--
As far as the 8 speed goes in the Denali, I don't think there is any real proof as to when it's coming. Other than it's definitely planned for the future. I think most of the rumors put out that the Denali will get the 8 speed for the 2016 model, so we could be a year away from...
