Another oil psi thread... 03 yukon Denali 6.0 230k

was wondering if just dropping the pan enough to get to the pick up tube bolt and torqueing it back up afterwards without tearing apart the cross member and everything below that it takes to remove the pan completely? or am I asking for another leaky pan.

P0106 code after spark test? Please help.

Pleas help. Frustrated with my 2003 Yukon Denali 6.0. I had a slight engine miss for some time now and the weather broke so I decided to do a spark check on each wire coming out of each coil. checked all and found one wire that didn't have a very good spark so I changed that wire out and...

    6.0 vortex burning/consuming oil issue

Been a couple weeks and finally got a chance to look at my truck. I decided to change the valve seals. Opened up the valve cover and it looked varnished up inside. Not sure what 210k miles buildup should look like. Wasn't sure how much psi I should use to hold the valves up. I set the...

    6.0 vortex burning/consuming oil issue

probably the rings and it sounds like a sizeable project for someone who hasn't done them. I am trying to take care of the easier low hanging fruit first. Compression test showed... dry 180-190 and w/oil 182-200. seems high...but consistent. first timer with new cheap gauge and 8 cranks...
