Both vehicles are post 2000, I think the donor truck is an 02 and the tahoe is a 2000(NBS) I was aware of the wire harness and crossmember issues, not the retune though. What does that even entail? the main issue i can see my self having is making the driveshaft from the 2500 mate to the tahoe...
There may be a thread on this already, if so I haven't found it. I am in a dire situation, my 4l60 in my 01 tahoe has gone out as so many of them do. I have an entire 6.0 truck at my disposal. They are both autotrac but I know the one coming out of the 2500 has a different spline input shaft...
