I had the hub rings throughout the entire ordeal. I have since sold those wheels and tires and now waiting on a set of 26” snowflakes/honeycombs to come in.
thank you sir. I did add in the 1” spacer only because I’m trying to track down what is causing a vibration at highway speeds. Balanced both 26s and stock wheels, tried djm sway bar links and then added the 1” spacer to minimize driveshaft angle and still shakes. Oh well, it does sit a touch...
Installed the djm endlinks last week. Needless to say the truck didn’t like them much. Before it’s asked, yes I moved the bracket over and aligned it correctly. Lol. Djm is sending a replacement, but I doubt I’ll waste time putting them back in.
I don’t think that’s what he meant. I gathered that he was referring the the actual bump stop mount being very small compared to other versions previously. My 15 esv has a couple inches of clearance to my bump stops after cutting them 1” per Tony’s advice. Haven’t bottomed out yet and is...
I don’t believe the drop has anything to do with my issue, pretty sure it’s the wheels and tires. The only thing that has me concerned with the drop at all was the angle that the rear sway bar is in now.
I went ahead and ordered the djm endlinks off of eBay. Walking up to the truck from behind, I noticed the sway bar is hanging down way too far and looks ridiculous. Even if it’s “not needed” it will look much better and be back to its proper angle.
Wheels are 26” Denali reps with 295/30/26. Took them off this morning to get it aligned. They ride like absolute trash over 73mph. My brothers 26s did the exact same thing. All 26s can’t ride like complete shit, right?
I just bought and installed a belltech 2/3-4 setup from tony. I’ve seen mixed posts about needing the end links. Some people say it’s needed, however tony said no. I setup my Escalade esv 2/4 and have only settled out to 1/2.5. I have a feeling the air sensors are limiting my drop for sure.
Was just about to place an order and watched a couple videos where new rear sway bar end links are needed. I don’t see these mentioned in the kit details. Any clarification is appreciated. Thank you.
I have a 15 Escalade esv. I’ve read that the Burban/xl/esv should use the 1” spacer. Just wanted to clarify that is correct and does it result in a similar to full drop in the shorter version trucks? Ordering this kit very soon. I can install myself but don’t have much extra time right now...
