    Intermittent airbag light/message

While driving to work yesterday, I noticed that my airbag light and message were flashing on and off. The only time they came on was during a certain song with the stereo and subs turned up. I've never had the lights come on before yesterday. Any ideas where to start besides turning down the radio?

    2005 Yukon Overheating

I've had good luck on older vehicles with removing the t-stat, disconnecting the upper and lower hoses at the radiator and running a garden hose where the t-stat goes. For the radiator, I'd pull it out, flip it upside down and run a hose in where the bottom hose goes.

    2005 Yukon Overheating

05 Yukon should have e fans, but I agree with blockage in the cooling system somewhere. Maybe try back flushing the system to see if anything comes out.

    Hour meter doesn't match mileage

Hey all, I bought a 2005 Yukon last month and after going through the menus I've found something I find peculiar. My hours and miles don't seem to jive. The mileage is 101228 and the hours are 787.4 for an average speed of 128.5 mph. I'm wondering what some causes could be, maybe the motor was...

Can I make mine like this?

Similar, but different. The way I understand it, AWD sends power to front and rear constantly and auto 4wd sends power to the rear until there is slippage, then sends power to the front as needed. I could be way off though.

Can I make mine like this?

In my limited research on this, it seems to be a one year only (2004) deal. From what I've read, it's basically auto 4wd with no option for 2 hi.

Stethoscopes are a great tool to have, I've used long screwdrivers in a pinch also.

    New Guy in Utah

Hey all, I bought a 2005 Yukon last week and been searching Google for info on it. Seems like every question has been answered on this forum, so I figured I'd join. My name is Aaron and this is my first Yukon, but not my first full size Chevy.
