    Yukon Engine Failure - Buyback?

Have you rented a vehicle lately? Last time I rented a Tahoe on a trip, which was a couple years ago now, that Tahoe run me close to $150 a day with all the added tax and fees. $44 bucks a day won’t get you a big full size SUV lol.

The Adventures of Sylvester, the 2018 Suburban 3500 HD

Really like the wheel and tire setup! Wheels are good looking for sure! Put a ceramic coating on them and they’ll be super simple to keep clean.

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

Such a good looking and sounding burb! Too bad the kid swiped the mailbox but that’s how they learn. Been there done that myself a handful of times over the years of being a young teenager lol. Hopefully she learns to tell you next time but hopefully she’s remorseful and learned the lesson.

    '02 Loose Shifter

Weird. I’ve had my shifter apart multiple times cuz I first went with a 2010 Escalade shift handle then a 2020 Escalade shifter with no chrome on the end and tan leather. The first time I pulled the factory bolt I used a heat gun to loosen up the factory loctite on the bolt. Never used loctite...

Metallic Rattle While Accelerating - Dealer Can't Reproduce (video)

As walleyemike said it’s time to take to another dealer and have it checked out by a different shop manager or tech. Sounds like the current shop manager isn’t skilled in diagnostics beyond what his service manual suggests, or he’s not motivated to go beyond the service manual for whatever...

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

Yeah but I bet your rigs still see a lot less snow than my poor long body does. Admittedly though mine is tucked into the garage tonight…… :Big Laugh: And I’m not. And I agree the long body needs a faithful miles served upgrade! lol

Fosscore's 2013 Suburban LTZ Build Thread

She’s just NOW hitting 100?!?! I’m so jealous! I remember those days in my rig….:D She’s still super clean! Love the updates! Bet your weather is quite a bit warmer than mine right now too.

    fuel mileage

I pull a 4300lb sea ray V hull behind my 2006 XL Denali with a 6.0 and I see about the same mileage. But dang you guys hit some serious speed when towing lol. I keep it 65 or below……. But then again the southern California freeways are kinda a nightmare when towing lol.

L86 to L8T in '19 Yukon XL Denali

Can we get some sound clips?!?! I’ll bet she sounds like a beast! I love the idea of swapping out the 6.2 for an L8T 6.6!!! Wish I could do it haha.

2001 GMC Yukon XL (Aka Beast)

I followed your lead and went with these for my front doors as well. I love em! One fell apart but grabbed a new set and haven’t had any issues with the second set! The white light is awesome from these.

    Afm application on 2009 Denali?

To be a bit more specific, the 2007/2008 L92 6.2L engine had the hardware installed in the engine for AFM but did not have the software in ECM programmed to enable it. 2009 the L9H 6.2L had no AFM hardware components in the engine or the software in the ECM programming to run it, so it was...

    Escalade Crossbars

Nope. Completely different cross rails. The Tahoe/yukon cross rails are black plastic, they are a tad bit larger, and they mount to the top of the side rail and slide back and forth along the cross rails along the top channel that they sit in. The Escalade cross rails are a bit narrower, and...

    Weathertech Mats

I have several clients with ** liners in their vehicles and from a detailing perspective I love them. The material seems less porous than the previous WT lines and seem to clean up a lot easier. Also as far as I have seen with the clients that have them so far no curling has come about. Time...

Out there question for the gurus that know GMT800s inside and out

Yeah that’s what my understanding of it is. Never ever seen a 1500 SUV with QS. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one such as this dudes that was a custom conversion made to seem like it was factory. But ya know how that goes. lol He has yet to provide photos so ya know how that goes :p

Out there question for the gurus that know GMT800s inside and out

Yeah I’ve seen a few examples of the Denali half ton ECSB quadrasteers. I actually like that particular truck. The back end wheel wells kinda look like a duallie rear end even though it’s not. lol

Out there question for the gurus that know GMT800s inside and out

So I joined a “Yukon Denali Only” page on fb a little while back just for shiggles….. lol it’s been an interesting show to watch. So many trucks clapped out and running on 26 and 28s and can’t figure out why their trucks ride like garbage or constantly have suspension issues….. lol. Fun to...

Towing a rv with a 2019 Tahoe Premier

Another good point! Everything from 2000 forward on the big SUVs uses plastic t shaped connections in the coolant lines that go from the water pump up to the heater core. There’s a funky angled t shaped piece at the lower end in between the hoses just after the water pump. Mine cracked last...

Towing a rv with a 2019 Tahoe Premier

Doesn’t hurt keeping fresh fluid in it often. I have my transmission serviced once a year even though I don’t even do sever duty mileage schedules which is 30-40k a year on trans service intervals. I drive like 15-18k a year and still just service the trans because it’s cheap insurance. After...

Towing a rv with a 2019 Tahoe Premier

Make sure your cooling system is up to the task. The biggest killer like @tagexpcom brought up is heat. Fresh coolant in the radiator and surge tank before any tow trip. Make sure all Your hoses and belts are in good order. No leaks or cracks. Make sure your water pump is not leaking coolant or...
