Yea at first glance looking at cv axles they look intimidating . But once you get in there you start to realize it’s super simple and basically the same exact design for basically all vehicles.
Stumbled upon a house in phoenix (Glendale). Finally after years of trying to make this happen. First was Covid, then it was the housing reverse market crash. But never gave up and now getting settled in.
So I feel like they stopped making aluminum after 02. But some plants had the machines and materials left over so was probably utilized for another year or two after possibly ?
So I’m confused.
It was my understanding, from this forum, that 00-02 had steel hatches and then gm swapped to aluminum in 03 because struts were giving out prematurely with steel hatches.
Now I hear it’s random depending on production plant?
Also I didn’t do anything to my gmt800 today...
As of right now I’m not taking any builds till I liquidate most of this stock pile . I have a few already split open and ready for paint/mod/retro. That’s half the battle lol. I’d sell the Denali headlights But I can’t find lenses for them right now.
I have lights for all trucks 99-06. Trying to get rid of my stock and start fresh and then take on serious builds.
Any questions let me know.
(Pickup clear tails and Denali headlights are not for sale just yet)
Been a hot minute. Let’s start back on with some more lighting candy
Alpharex full led headlights , triple projectors with sequential strips. 100% plug n play with zero modifications needed.
I was one of the few who pre ordered these before they were even released. So I waited about two months...
I’ve found nothing useful in this thread, just a bunch of gibberish and nonsense with a little hanky-panky
Ok a lot of hanky-panky
Ok it’s all hanky-panky
came in sets of 3 so naturally I had to make the headlight switch match
That’s it for chrome on the front dash area. Next will be doors starting with Denali handles then go from there. I hate chrome when it comes to the exterior, but on the interior it’s very acceptable.
Seen a Fb post where a dude added these to his hvac controls and I was immediately sold. The light up circles match my deck volume knob which is also a light up circle. They’re a little bigger but sit nicely on the unit.
