Mystery noise (loud) from alternator? Not belt squeal...
I used a product similar to this to oil while running, with its design it mad it easy to do. To me it almost sounds like a dry bearing, do you have a mechanics stethoscope? Can you tell if it is coming from the front or the rear or center? I had a idler pully on my old Dakota that sounded like that when the bearing was starting to go. One way I tested it was using a bit of Machine oil...- TTR_48

After allot of reading wondering the same I found that there are many benefits to switching. Longer lasting, increased shearability, etc... GM discontinued Dex III so what you will find is dex/merc. ^^^^^^^ Yes ^^^^^ I just did this on my trans after replacing a good number of parts in it this last weekend. I also added a external filter so the way I connected the hose was a little different, but the same process none the less. Improved performance for sure and switched to DEX VI. 245K+...- TTR_48

Difficulty fueling
Have you checked to see if there is a blockage in the main fueling hose? My old ramcharger did this when I first got it and it had a siphon hose block in the hose. Over time debres accumulated around it and wouldn't let fuel through fast enough so I ended up having the same issue you are. Pulled...- TTR_48

Brake pedal goes to floor.
My wife's car did the same thing about 2 years ago, ended up being the MC. I would replace it and do a whole system flush which sounds to be needed anyway due to the color. When the seals start to break down on the MC, the system can loose its pressure. Dirty fluid is also bad for everything...- TTR_48

I had a similar experience with a previous vehicle, except on the rear I had fun with 20year old factory drums as well. I have also had a main line go "pop" while driving. 03 Yukon XL When I put it in drive from park, it hesitates, takes about 5 sec for it to actually engage. If i dont wait, it just kinda slams in.
