2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

It's a custom one off piece at the moment. I have the prototype installed. We will be making a few production level extractors this spring. My partners been waiting for me to send this one back for the mold to be made.

2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

Lots of variables in trying to calculate crank horsepower to rwhp. Automatic vs manual drive train is one of the main factors. Some would say a good back of the napkin guess is to pull 20% out from the crank to the wheel for an automatic, and 15% for manuals. So for an auto at 425 at the...

2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

Thanks, good question. It's just like the newer Camaros (and ZL1's), and "V" versions of Cadillac's hood heat extractors. It's cut in to the hood to allow air to flow up and through. This is a custom one off, that we took and modified from a version on my SEMA Cadillac.

2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

I didn't do any cam work, its all bolt on. I haven't had another dyno since having it re tuned at ADM performance, but power and drive ability are good. The only time it was on the dyno was after the initial install, and that tuner didn't have the new A8 transmission software to keep it from...

2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

I didn't do any coatings or wrap the headers. I have a functional heat extractor on the hood, so the engine breaths. As far as the concept drawings, I believe those were a set of Giovana wheels.

2015 Yukon Denali - Redline Concept SEMA Build

I did not do a baseline dyno, was in a time crunch to get the engine work done before sending to paint. Not my first experience with superchargers, so didn't feel the need to get the baseline numbers. Magnuson wanted me to installed the 2.3l supercharger, but the 1.9l would fit also. Again...

Any new lowering kits on the market? Which is still the best for a 2"/3" drop?

MaxTrac Suspension is just releasing a 2/3 drop kit. It will be using a spindle for the front. They will be showing it off at SEMA this year.

I can send you the list of vendors I used to get the truck to where it's at power wise. The Yukon made 486 rwhp, for record. Also made a 502 run, but down shifted part way through so we tossed that run out. That darn 8 speed kept wanting to shift on the dyno. I didn't want them messing with...

Hello to everyone on the forum. I have been trolling around the forum for a few weeks. Figured I would say hello. I purchased a 2015 Yukon Denali about two months back. Love it! It's currently under transformation in to one of my SEMA projects for this year. Have already put on cold air...
