intermittent open ground noise
I had the same problem. I found that running a new 12v, ground, and acc wiring from the head unit fixed mine.- Gary II

New headunit wiring
The ignition wire will not work. You can buy a bypass for the parking brake on-line, or make your own that is wired to the head unit to trick the deck into thinking your parked and brake is applied. It allows dvd and nav veiwing while driveing. Also saves time without having to run more wires.- Gary II
