New headunit wiring

I have a some question on the wiring for this kit. Here is the link for the install pdf.
Im installing this on a 2006 Yukon XL Denali. It has factory Bose, Navigation, and Sat radio. Im going to be installing a Pioneer AVIC 8200NEX stereo.
1. I use the procedure on pg.10 Section3: Class III correct?
2. Section1 and 2 don't apply because those are for different models correct?
3. Does my car have a Digitally Amplified system? I assume it does since it has a factory Bose amp. pg11
4. on Pg11 for the line "The following wires are for the aftermarket radios that have navigation built in" it wants me to connect the green wire to the parking brake. Why would i connect that to the parking brake? would that mean that it would need to set the parking brake for Navigation and DVD viewing? What is another option instead of the parking brake? I assume an ignition wire?

The ignition wire will not work. You can buy a bypass for the parking brake on-line, or make your own that is wired to the head unit to trick the deck into thinking your parked and brake is applied. It allows dvd and nav veiwing while driveing. Also saves time without having to run more wires.

It wants you to connect to the parking brake wire so that you can't input destination info (lots of typing) or view DVDs while in motion. Standard navigation functions would still work.

As mentioned above, buying a bypass is the easiest way to do it. When wiring your adapter harness to your aftermarket radio's harness, just splice the bypass into your amplifier remote turn on wire and the ground wire, then splice the green parking brake wire from your aftermarket radio to the green wire from the bypass.

That is the Kenwood style bypass (note: I'm told that you don't even need a bypass to fool a Kenwood, but for $13, it seemed like the easiest solution). I have one on the Alpine in my Lexus, which uses a two stage brake activation procedure (foot brake and e-brake), and it has one additional wire that needs to be connected. Still, it's very straightforward.
