My car has a 12V up above the cigarette lighter that is tied in. Someone on another forum had a problem with theirs blowing because one of their kids had stuck a penny down in it..
My OBD2 fuse had blown, i think when i used the 12V for an air pump but when i put a new fuse in it was fine. The 12V still doesn't work so i have to check it out..can you disconnect the 12V somehow and just try the OBD2?
My 2004 Yukon Denali XL had sensors go bad, it was traction control, or wheel speed sensors. When pulling out from a stop sign or stoplight when you would accelerate it would bog the motor down and downshift sometimes. After I had the sensors replaced it was fine.
