Shaved my wiper so I had to 86 the button. Only regret is that I wish my acrylic piece was deeper so I could have obscured where the actual LED was but this is good enough.
24s and a drop would be wonderful but I'm starting my own business so I need to calm the hell down and just ride out the rubber on these twenties for the time being.
That price on an Amazon aftermarket is literally double what any certifit would charge. Letting people know could save them a lot of cash... nearly enough to paint the thing
I bought so many parts for my Tahoe at once that I can't remember what box these came in. If they were really for my HD bumper cover I don't remember anything similar coming off when I disassembled.
Got the appliques on. Still need to put the bumper pads on (also color matched) and the Escalade third brake light. I also purchased a flasher for the third brake light. I have the Escalade glass but it's the older glass. I'm still torn on which glass I prefer more. Lift gate handle got painted...
Do not assume these amounts to be cut are the same for all years. I did it blind while my Tahoe was getting painted and when I got it back the measurements to cut were too much. In fact I don't know that they even need to be trimmed at all for an 06. I might actually be forced to buy all new...
If you want to use the HD pad you have to cut and reweld the bumper horns. (it has to drop down 1-1.5"). If you just want to use the HD grill you need to trim the grill 1-1.5"
I did the rear wiper and window button. I can put an actuator on the window release. I would have loved it totally shaved but I didn't mind the hatch handle given the functionality and protection of resale.
