Put a new set of Spyder ones in....problem solved. So they are no cracks and no yellowing in the original Denali ones, are they worth listing for someone else to convert? just wondering- Davidb5303

No pictures...figured that was the problem so just put back together and reinstalled....so i guess the next thing it to order a set of black ones and replace Thanks- Davidb5303

well i took them back out and disassembled...i found the "chrome" reflector material in the cylinder is bubbled and flaking off and laying inside the chamber. So i am assuming that it cant reflect off the black plastic and it cant reflect thru the flakes laying in there. So next move is to order...- Davidb5303

They are OEM housings and i have tried swapping highs and low lamps...both sets are bright in high beam configuration and both sets are dismal in the low beam configuration...thats why i am baffled on this. When i had them out the looked clean.- Davidb5303

Well I guess I am trying to figure out why my low beams suck hind side...I just got this 03 and the first night I drove it I actually got out to see if the low beams were on. So that's the reason I looked for help in a forum like this. I am sure I wasn't the first to ask this, as I wasn't the OP...- Davidb5303

How would you modify it? looks like there is a top and bottom "diverter" with the center open...maybe try and open that gap some more?- Davidb5303

well i removed both headlight assemblies...they apear to be clean, and i then swapped low and high beam lamps and reinstalled..low beams still seem to not be very bright and hick beams are still very bright. I need to figure something out cause i almost feel there not a safe amount of light...- Davidb5303

Perfect I am all ears and eyes....cause I need to do something cause I feel like Ray Charles trying to drive st night. Can't tell if it shows in pic but there is a plug for the low beam and that plugs into a short 6" harness that then plugs into the 9005 lamp. I assume this is all original. If...- Davidb5303

I know this has been asked a number of times but here goes...Yukon Denali XL 03...rear bag shocks are junk and imagine the compressor is too. Fronts are original at 160,000. So do i buy a Arnott KIT-0007 for $700 and change whole system, or a Bilstien 4600 kit with new rear springs for $350 or...- Davidb5303
