98 'hoe, no start.
So this is what the distributor gear looks like... I'm dropping the oil pan today. I'll be looking for cracks in the block and wear in the crankshaft, Is there anything else I should be checking for damage? Engine has 378xxxkm, haven't done much to it since I bought it last year, it's ran fine...- MikeG93

Hi there, My name is Mike and i know this is an old thread but this is the closest example of what my problem is that i have found so far. i have done most of what has been described here short of pulling out the distributor and timing cover.
