    Z71 different from LT shocks

Bought all my parts on amazon. Nothing had to be changed but I did have to drill holes. To put the bump stops under the bounce jumpers on front. Having someone help and some air tools helped immensely. Air tools and a cheater bar on a ratchet helped. Rented a spring compressor and a torsion...

    Z71 different from LT shocks

Well, I did the springs, shocks, and keys all at once. Can't believe the difference it made. My yukon only has 55,000 on it but there was bad surface rust holding the old keys to the bars. The lrecious owner lived in Logan Utah, lots of snow, high elevation, long winters and utah salts their...

What gasoline brand and what octane do you guys use?

My father and two of my uncle's work at the local Chevron Refinery. They've heard horror stories from some of their new hires about what some of the other local refineries are willing to ship out. For that reason I use Chevron. Lowest octane I can get without pre-detonation (87 at this...

    Z71 different from LT shocks

Ive got a 2004 yukon and i just pulled the tag off the rear spring... part number on the spring was YJC 15182555. I'm trying to see if the previous owner already replaced the springs with Z71 springs. Anyone know if that part number correlates to the base model or the Z71. That being said...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Towed the Raptors 250 miles round trip to little Sahara sand dunes on Saturday. There were a couple long hills to pull up but not too steep. Averaged 15.5 mpg. At $2.46 a gallon it cost me less than $40 to drive down and back. Nothing special but i was happy. Only performance doodad I have is...

    Exhaust upgrades

So, after searching I can't find an answer. The muffler on my 04 yukon is a stock single in dual out... but then it immediately merges back into a single pipe. So what's the point of a single in dual out if the dual out merges right back I to a single... why not just go single in single out...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I know not everyone likes these but I thought it looks good. Black billet locking fuel door. I also sold my third row seats, installed a weathertech cargo liner, and Fleece Performance 4HI "all lights on" mod.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Thought about color matched. Decided on black. It's going to have black xd grenade wheels with the machined lip. White Hoes with color matched flares are a dime a dozen. I wanted to be a little different. Almost looks like a fleet vehicle at the moment but give it time.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Got rid of the stainless steel "chrome" fender flares. Installed a set of black plastic ones (thanks to 02_Tahoe) to hide the scratches the stainless ones left behind. In order for them to fit I had to demold the sides as well (pain in the ass by the way). I hate chrome, I'm going for a...

    NEW RIG - 05 LT w/39,777 Miles!!

Very nice! You got me beat. I just picked up an 04 Yukon with 51,000 miles. It feels so good to pick up the older NBS with such low miles.

    Missing part of fender flares

You can order them from the dealer and I think they were about $60 each. You can also get used ones from car-part.com but the may want to sell you the whole rear flare.

    Newbie

Finally picked it up last week. 51,000 miles on it. Already did the demold and debadge. New z71 style fender flares will be here today. Ditched the tube steps, still needs a leveling kit, wheels and tires.
