Remember that the trailer light circuits are fused separately from the truck body light circuits, but they share some functions with/through the flasher. I'm not saying it's a fuse issue because the turn signals work, and those are the roughly the same as the brake lights.
Are the body turn...

Just a thought... the evap purge valve on the engine can stick open -- intermittently -- and cause a rich start.
Lots of tests that could be done, maybe an injector balance test. Any misfire counts for individual cylinders?
What do the fuel trims look like?
Have you monitored fuel pressure...
It would be good to know what year, make, model, and engine you have, although for fluid checks it probably doesn't matter as long as this is posted in the correct year section.
The fluid is likely not hot enough for a proper check after running only a few minutes. Check your owner's manual...
The CRUX module you list is for Bose. (see the ad that your link shows)
Crutchfield notes that the CRUX CS-GMC2 -- among others -- is the right one for non-Bose, non-OnStar installs.
Oil diluted with fuel can affect fuel trims and the fuel vapors can cause the computer to take away metered gas (so, negative fuel trims). Something to watch for after having a rich condition for a while. Fuel trims can tell a lot about what's going on inside...
FWIW the trailer lights go through the turn signal flasher, if that's any help. You can find electrical diagrams on www.charm.li.
Is the 4 pin connector a factory connection? Many of these came with the factory 7 blade trailer connector - yours didn't?
So are you saying that the engine compartment harness was changed? If so, how much of it?
Why was the harness changed?
Is this some kind of conversion from RWD to 4WD?
Evaluating actual data like that is not about the scanner -- it's about getting educated about what the data shows and what it's telling you. There are many websites and other sources to help get information about different values that are encountered with a good scanner. Yours seems to be...
Did you read the other side of the dipstick? It might show a lower level; always use the lower level reading. And be sure to read it with the vehicle on a level surface, with the engine not having run for 10 or 15 min to allow the oil to drain from the upper engine.
If you know the connector numbers Mouser Electronics has some of them. https://www.mouser.com/. You might be able to buy connectors with pigtails somewhere else if you can ID the connector numbers.
See if they look like these...
But if the horn connection is working incorrectly (being "always grounded") the horn's relay will be energized. Don't think that just because the "press test" lets you push it and it returns fool you into thinking that all is well there. It might be, but you won't know until it's properly...
^^^ THIS. Pull the airbag off and disable the horn switch where it grounds. Replace the horn relay to see if it's still passing current. If it is, you'll know that it's not the horn switch, but in the wiring between the steering wheel and the horn relay control.
Does this have an aftermarket...
Two door or four door?
Here's a link to the wiring diagram; be sure to check the links at the very top to make sure it's the correct one for your SUV...
