Hello all,

I hope I can get some help before I lose my mind. I'll put as much information and pictures here that I know. Any help is appreciated.

I have an 02 Tahoe non bose, with on-star, had center console with rear audio controls but removed it for a needed jumper seat.

P.O. had installed pioneer single din H.U. To my recollection there hasnt been sound in rear since I've owned tahoe (about 9 years) I'm upgrading to a tablet style unit.

On install noticed some wires clipped from 2nd harness. I don't know if i should connect them or which wire goes to which.

I have sound in front speakers but none in rear. Checked rear speakers and they're good. Checked amp fuse and it's good. Connected to front speakers to see if sound would go through - no sound. I've connected the pink wire and I'm getting sound in front. Not sure if I'm connected to the right pink wire because I see two. Unit powers up and works fine.

I've connected the blue wire still no rear sound.

I've read about still needing that secondary harness but not sure.

I ordered a factory amp bypass harness to see if that works. Using tape as temporary until the problem is solved.

Thank you

I believe that since you removed the rear control that you will need to jumper a couple wires on that harness to get rear sound, which wires exactly I do not have memorized at the moment, but pretty sure it needs to be done.
maybe @Fless knows

Hello,

So I had a chance went and connected like colors for the wires but still no sound. Could it be a bad factory amp? Any ideas, I thought maybe connect power to the other pink wire still nothing.
