The gaps are tightened up at the bumpers and it looks much nicer without the huge gap WITH NO CLEARENCE PROBLEMS. The core support does not need to be relocated. Now, if your bushings are already worn the body won't be lowered as much due to the old worn bushings.
I made this write-up as...
Are those 6 lug? I know the R-Six is but it looks like the R-Four isn't. What's the price on these? Any other options as well? You can PM me if need be. I live right next to you in Farmers Branch.
Can you get any wheels that are 24x9.5" with a +35mm offset (one piece)? If not, what is the closest that you could get? I've looked around but can't find anything. For some reason I am having a hard time finding larger rims that can tuck. I bent one of my rims and they don't make them...
What 26" wheels have you seen with those dimensions?? It seems like the larger the wheel the less the offset. I've been trying to find some wheels with those dimensions (9.5" wide with ~35mm offset).....well besides billets.
You;re welcome Austin. Do you want suspension pics with it on the ground or side pics? The first and second pictures of the uca/bj are on the ground. The last 2 are with the wheel off. With my 305/35/24 (32.4" tall) I was at 32.5" the last time I measured. I just put on some stock 20's so...
My drivers side is all of the way in and the passengers side is all of the way out. The passengers side is still a tad higher but I'm out of adjustment. I'm pretty much the same height all of the way around so I'm ok with it. It really wouldn't be too drivable if it were much lower with my...
Sure thing, will do. I'm switching my rims so I'll have the wheel off anyway. I bent a rim but they are discontinued and I can't find a set with the backspacing I need so I'm going back to a stock setup. But forewarning my tahoe doesn't sit as low as others with the same components for some...
No, for the upper flip you press the upper ball joint in on the opposite side and flip the a-arm around and it still enters the spindle from the top. This does not help camber/caster in any way. All that it does is help ball joint angle therefore increase its life span.
The bagged guys also...
I'm looking to purchase a new set of rims as I bent one of mine and they are discontinued. I'm looking for a 24x9.5 with a +30 offset or higher. Does anyone know of any brands that carry what I'm looking for? I've been researching a lot and am having trouble finding what I need.
I'm interested! What would be the width and backspacing? I'm looking for a 9.5" wide rim with a +35mm offset. What time frame are you looking at getting these?
It should use the stock bolts. The first batch or so that came out the sleeves were too small. That happened to me and I had to call and get the correct sleeves.
Can you post larger pictures? I'll go try and look at mine and see if I can figure out what you're talking about. The gas filler tube isn't a problem. I don't think the rigid metal lines you are talking about will be a problem either. Your body shouldn't drop down that far to sit on the frame.
I didn't have any issues with this. The only thing I moved was a loom of wires. The emergency brake line was stretched pretty good when lifting up the drivers side. Maybe you saw my write-up? If you do have anything in the way it will have to be moved. Also if you are planning on changing...
I just installed some switchbacks and noticed when I shift into reverse the drivers side cuts off for a split second then comes back on. Has anyone else experienced this with LED's? I switched the bulbs from side to side to rule out the bulb itself and it only does it on the drivers side with...
Ah, ok. I found a write-up of running the wire on here but they jumped the 12v to each map light. They also added a diode. Here's the link: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34369&page=22
What wires did you tap into to get the 12V to the map lights? Do you have to run 12V to every map light (6) in the vehicle? I got CANbus bulbs for all of my map lights and that didn't solve the dimming issue.
CANbus bulbs don't work for me like everyone else is saying for the 03-06 in the map lights for some reason. I guess I'll have to do the wire tap method to get them to work.
I would but I have to return some other bulbs anyway so I just decided to go with CANbus and be done with it. Where did you get the floor sockets and wire them in? Any closer pics of this?
