Z71 different from LT shocks
Central Florida/Winter Haven. I was thinking 265's because I'll be driving a lot for my job and currently have them. trying not to kill my MPG totally. I am still considering 285's, I want to see how much room I have once I level it out and then I'll get tires.- TahoeFL

Z71 different from LT shocks
I wish you posted a week ago- I had mine sitting in the garage for a week or 2 before I threw them away. I will say when I ordered the Moog "z-71 spring", I placed them side by side to my original spring, and it was a good 2" taller, and slightly narrower (the tightness of the coil). Monroe 58639 Load Adjust shocks
Has anyone used/tried these? I tow a boat that has some tongue weight, and once or twice a year, tow the boat with a full family of gear in my Tahoe. seems these could help with some of the sag the extra weight adds to the rear. -'02 Tahoe with z-71 springs.- TahoeFL

I ordered the Moog's off Amazon, I think it was $53 or $57. Install went easier than expected. I would recommend new springs- probably close to the same price you'd pay at a pick and pull, and you never know what someone else has done with their vehicle. -eliminate the variables, and start...- TahoeFL

02- Thank you! yes, I plan to order new shocks for the rear. 5100's seems to be what everyone has the best results with right? also planning to order new keys as well as check my bumpstops and new front shocks.- TahoeFL

my '02 Tahoe (130k miles) had original rear springs that were sagging and lost most of their strength. I replaced them with the Moog Z-71 springs. I have not had a chance to update the shocks yet. -updating the rear springs gave me just under a 2" lift in the back. to get close to leveling the...- TahoeFL
