I know it's a older post but what ended up happening with your issue? I have a 2016 yukon Denali with 42,000 and I hear and feel the 'pop' at low speeds and turning it is currently at a GM shop as of today for diagnose.
That's even better to hear that they're GM parts. What particular vehicle and year did you buy them for so that way I know which one's to buy exactly to put on my 2016 Yukon .

Today the shop is called me they let me know I have water in my front differential that is the source of my noise . So they're going to take it apart figure out what's broken because there's metal shavings in the water I'll keep you updated price and everything replaced
