Well I did upgrade the high side. I just didn’t put a lot of thought into the low side at the time, until I got to the tuner. Then I had to tune it for what I had. Now I’m trying to resolve this issue.
I could buy the pumps that I need through racetronics. So my thought is...
Maybe I am in the wrong fourm. I just assumed that with the gear heads in this space, that someone would have some input on making over 600-800hp. My fuel system is in dyer need of an upgrade.
I could fab up 1 or 2 intank pumps. But then again the head pressure at idle could be to high...
Yes it has a heat exchanger for the supercharger. The high side fuel pump and injectors are new Lt-4 stuff. I’m looking for the low side pump upgrades. Ive ran ally injection on my Buick, and that’s not what I’m looking for at the moment. Thanks for the reply’s.
I appreciate it.
I wasn’t sure and was told that there could be a difference between an suv and a truck pump assembly . I didn’t want to spend money on something that wouldn’t fit.
I had no intention to mod the truck to this intent. But here we are.
Lt4 short block
Lt4 fuel pump ...
Tuner said I need to get two Walbro 535 pumps. Noted that I could get by with 1 , but It would be maxed. I’m not sure if someone makes a drop in unit or if I have make my own. Any help would be appreciated.
Oil pressure looks good
My 07 Denali had a screen, and when removed it was a little twisted from the sensor pushing down on it. So if I had to guess you didn't have one. Also I used a small 90 degree pick to remove it.
Actually I dont think you need it, since you don't have afm
I usually use a impact gun. But u will have to figure out how to lock it down if you want to retorque the cam bolts during install. Also the vvt is 2 pin the cam sensor is 3 pin and the both of them join together to make up the 5 pin (down by the oil pan area. I believe). But with the...
You have got vvt and afm / dod crossed up I believe.
Vvt - variable valve timing
Afm or DOD - which ever you want to call it is - 4 cylinder mode
All 6.2 / l92s have vvt. And the early ones had the afm hardware ; but wasnt activated.
Smooth valley cover = no afm hardware
Not sure what all the benefits are but I have heard they were better than the tensioner style that have been know to break. That that's the question I have also. after installing the new cam would it be driveable enough to get to the tuner?
Is the stage 2 cam a one or three bolt camshaft ? Vvt delete ?
I've been debating on the camshaft swap, and also dont want to get in to a bigger stall. I want it to pull from Down low like it does now. It seems like the rpm's hang around 1500 to 2000 just normal driving. It's my...
From what I gather, the adapter needs to have the elm chipset. Ya know i went and bought the bluedriver adapter after looking at a few reviews. Not knowing that it wasnt compatible with the torque software. Live and learn I guess.
I wanting to buy a wireless obd dongle to run the torque pro app. I know there are some low end units out there. But also seen a couple that has a faster read speed. Just curious what everyone is using or recommend.
The plugs are ac delco 41-110. As far as the tune goes. It was more than a slight difference. The over all drivability is excellent.
But the main Reason I got the personalized tune was because of the mods I had. I didn't want to be running lean. But the plugs look the same, before...
My 07 denali has the miss at idle also. And I've entertained the idea of changing the injectors. I also heard somewhere that the stock injectors were barely enough. And with long tubes, high flow cats, diablew tune cold air intake. I thought about stepping up to 40s. Cause every once in a...
Have you noticed bubbles in the fuel after running e85. If you dont see any like you did when your running gas , then I'd say the air bubbles are from the heat of the engine causing vapor lock air bubbles.
My 07 denali had vapor locking issues this summer. After towing the boat or rzr it would die or idle really rough when I slowed down or came to a stop. I started to carry my fuel pressure tester with me and when it would act Up. I would purge the air from the fuel lines and be back on The road...
