What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Must be nice lol! It’s like 6 months of winter up here every year. I’m hoping to move to a warmer climate once my girlfriend is done with college.

    Dashboard cracked ...

My thought was that when covering the entire dash with a layer of epoxy and then sprinkling a felt like stuff all over it, you are thereby reinforcing the complete dashboard. As far as cleaning, I would just vacuum the dust with a hose and brush attachment. I just thought I’d share the idea...

    Dashboard cracked ...

Have any of you guys heard of dash flocking? If I was going to do anything to remedy cracks and glare, I think it would be something like this.

    Headliner cleaning

As a detailer, I generally stick to products manufactured for auto applications, to ensure the safety of the car, and make the best end result. :2cents:

    Headliner cleaning

I use this stuff at my detail shop all of the time. It works great on headliners... I’m not positive about it removing ink though. I think it should work fine, I’ve used it to easily remove grease stains off of light tan headliners. http://www.prowax.com/cleaners/C-54_Upholstery_Carpet_Cleaner.html

Wow, what a small world!! Festerlings is where I get all of my work done also. In fact I’m getting my winter tires put on and an oil change there on Wednesday. They do all the PM’s for the state police post up here and probably Emmet County Sherrif’s department as well. They do really great...

Is it possible to install a PKE + push button start on a 07-14 PPV?

Thanks for the info. I’ll keep you in mind if I move forward with this. I’m not sure if that system is in my budget. Even though I always do love great quality upgrades.

Is it possible to install a PKE + push button start on a 07-14 PPV?

Good to know. I would love to have those features for convenient also. I don’t know if I’m brave enough to attempt this on my own though. I might have to find someone to do the install for me.

Is it possible to install a PKE + push button start on a 07-14 PPV?

Just wondering if anyone has done any research on this or installed this mod? Or something similar? I’m interested in this for a future project...

Favorite all-in-one product for the Interior.

Also, just to add a thought, leather is a pretty delicate material. So when scrubbing it clean, I use a horsehair brush with microfiber towels or something similar. A coarse brisel brush can damage the leather.

    Adams Guard and gloss.

I would recommend shaking the container very well, verify that the contents have mixed and returned to normal color; then wait 10 minutes, and if the product retains normal color, then you should be good to use it. Of course, that's just my opinion, if you want to know for sure, you can...

    Water Leak(s) 2013 SSV

X2 what he said :imo: I had water sloshing when I first bought my PPV. I cleaned the door drains with pipe cleaners, and I haven't had a problem since.

Weird Grinding noise when hitting the brakes hard

I would also look at the parking break shoes. NNBS parking brakes are notorious for coming loose and making noises in the rear. I just had my passenger parking brake shoe adjusted. At 45MPH+ it made the same sound as a bad U Joint.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Nice! :) I put it on a customer's 2018 Ford Raptor; after 3 months of northern Michigan winter with heavy salt and several full detail washes, the water still beaded off the paint! That sold it for me.

    Need some input

Congrats Chris on your new ride!! If you get a chance, we would love to see some pics of your rig. The paint on a 2016 shouldn't be in need of heavy compound. Here is a link to what I just did to my 2013 Tahoe PPV...

Used a Flex polisher to Buff, polish, and then seal the paint on the whole truck. Tried out this Pro Car product called "Poly Gard". I've used it on newer cars, and it looks great and lasts a long time. It's polymer based, not wax based, but you apply it just as you would a wax. As always...

    Polishing up you headlights

I've heard of that too, but I wonder how long it lasts? I would think that after a week or so, that kind of fix would wear off.
