Any help would be greatly appreciated.
So my wife’s Tahoe has been doing some weird things lately. It started last year when one day her car just wouldn’t start. I tried jump starting the car and it would start then shut off and not jump again. I took the battery out and had it tested, it was...
Did you leave the Fox 2.0’s set at factory height and then use the Fabtech spacer? My wife’s Tahoe has the Same Fabtech lift now but I want something to help the ride. I think the 5100’s will be too stiff so was looking at the Fox 2.0 setup

So it’s not perfectly level, it’s actually got about a 3/4-1” rake to it. However, I did add a small SMALL spacer to the front, I think it’s around 1/4” thick.

Well we’ve only had the car for about 2 months. But so far the ride is almost as good as stock. I say almost because it does ride rougher, but more of a comfortable rough, if that makes sense. Nothing is jarring but you can tell it’s not as smooth as stock.
As far as drive line angles go, They...
Got the lift done on my wife’s car finally. Went with the 4” Fabtech Budget kit and 305/55r20 Ridge Grapplers on 20x9 0 offset Fuel wheels

Any idea if they sell just the front piece? (GM/Aftermarket)
Our Tahoe is lifted and came with a new differential skid plate but I would like something else for the front section

I’m looking at 3.5-4” of lift. Most kits don’t have exactly what I want so I was wondering about putting my own kit together. So far this is what I had in mind.
Bilstein Adj Height fronts (either 5100 or 6112)
Rough Country 2” leveling kit
Freedom Off Road Control Arms
Some type of...
Let me know how that works out for you. After test fitting some wheels and tires I realized this thing has stamped control arms, which apparently the RC kit doesn’t work with those either [emoji35]

Well I finally called RC and spoke with someone instead of chatting with someone online. I was told that the kit now comes with sleeves that will let you use it with aluminum knuckles.

So we just bought my wife a 2016 Tahoe and I had every intention of putting the RC 3.5” lift on it. Was going to order but noticed in the instructions that the kit won’t work with aluminum knuckles!!!
Started looking at the Fabtech 4” but then in the instructions it says to drill out the upper...
Couple questions:
1. What was the offset for the 20x10’s?
2. Does it still fit in your garage?
3. How tall is your garage opening?
beautiful Hoe man! Just picked up a 16 and am looking to do a similar setup!
So my wife’s Tahoe had a P0440 code. Dealership did a smoke test and said the EVAP Canister, purge valve and vent valve needed replaced.
Instead of paying them 1000 to do it, I replaced them all myself. Reset the check engine light and all was fine. Or so I thought
Now, her car acts like it...
About ready to do a front suspension refresh on my wife’s 03 Z71. I’m going to do upper and lower ball joints and was wondering if adjustable ball joints would be necessary since the Tahoe is lifted about 2” up front
I’m positive it’s plugged back in. When I put the intake back on I was having some problems routing the evap line that runs next to the fuel rail. Maybe I cracked that
New guy here!
So my wife's Tahoe had a Knock Sensor code for awhile and I finally got around to replacing them (dumbest knock sensor location ever). I also replaced the catalytic converters at the same time due to them rattling very bad (car has around 160k on it)
After I replaced the parts...
