I probably did! I'm going to talk to a couple people and see what the going rate is around here and go a little cheaper being I only have a snow blower.
I got a new toy and hauler to do my place and grandparents. We got 13" of snow the other day and decided to make some money with it. 8 hours of snow removal and $270 not to bad.
I missed out on an identical set of 15 Yukon wheels this summer for $150. I've been kicking myself ever since needless to say. A local tire shop had these wheels for $400 and picked them up for $300. I bought a set of pirelli scorpion str at Sam's club for $522 installed. Just in time for...
Fix the rattles, squeaks, and seat tear. Do some other preventive maintenance that may need to be done but not showing yet. Maybe a few cosmetic upgrades if you're into that. Its definitely cheaper than a truck payment but dont go so overboard you can't recoup some money if you change your mind...
I baked mine at 270° for 20 minutes on the first one that melted the reflector a little bit but the rest of the headlight was fine. The first headlight spit apart in less than a minute. Second headlight 270° for 12 to 15 minutes and took a couple minutes to split apart. The reflector was fine...
Thanks for the replies. I was looking at the mishimoto i like the design but it's a little expensive. This generic one looks the same however and is reasonably priced.

Here is a link to retrofit OEM denali or aftermarket denali replicas.
The basic part of the retrofit is pretty easy. It's the getting the projector beam perfectly straight and getting the hotspots of the bulbs right. Take your time and make sure your hotspots are correct first as it will...
So far so good! It started and ran perfectly in the shop and on the way home. Now its sitting in -24° weather for the night so tomorrow will be the true test. I'm sure itll be good tomorrow, those gaskets are thick!
Check engine light came on a couple days ago p0101, p0171, p0174. Thanks to this forum after doing research here I found out my intake manifold gaskets were bad. I gathered up my parts today and got it in the shop at my work and changed out the intake manifold gaskets, knock sensors, knock...
Agreed! I got an oil pressure switch for my last vehicle from oreillys I want to say BDW. It ended up going out in exactly 1 year! That was fine because it was easy to get at but I'm not pulling an intake manifold twice in 1 year for a sensor!
Thank you for your input! I was just looking on Amazon at Delphi knock sensor reviews. This guy had posted a picture of his Delphi and it's got a sticker that says assembled in Mexico, that happens to be where the acdelco is assembled also.
Thank you. I'm using the search bar to research Delphi knock sensors here on this forum to see what the consensus is. I know Delphi makes a lot of electronics for manufacturers so I'd like to think they're good.
How were your intake bolts and grommets?
Man I really dont want to wait any longer to order in acdelco knock sensors! I dont know what I'm going to do...
I'm usually with you on the OEM parts for vehicles. However in this case I do not really want to wait until next week for acdelco knock sensors. I'm not paying the local dealer $100 per sensor. If someone tells me that aftermarket knock sensors are a big no no I'll wait and order them online @...
My 2004 Yukon XL is throwing a cel for p0101, p0174, p0171 so I decided to clean the throttle body and maf sensor today. After putting that back together it was still running a little rough. Next up was the water test. I squirted a little water on the intake manifold and steam came out the...
Thank you for the help you guys. I was thinking along the lines of one was an updated version but flex fuel would make sense.
I went ahead and order the 214-646 fingers crossed that is the problem. It all started up again when I was working on my headlight project and pulled it into a warm shop...
Last fall I was getting the tighten fuel cap message so I replaced that.
Then I got the check engine light with 2 codes for emissions leak. I replaced the canister vent solenoid with ACDelco 214-2149.
Then it started getting cold out and winter set in and the check engine lights stopped and...
