Got the money to repair the engine dead cylinder #7 no compression..
Is the shop trying to take me for a ride on the costs 5300 total 5600(camshaft replacement if needed)
they want to take part the heads and "resurface it".. as well is this something that is really necessary?
update i let the battery rest for a few days deep cycling them to 5.5volts
6 cells of 40 so far
doing about 4 cells a day
random sample Cell number 28 yielded 268.8 increased mAh Capacity from 679.6 to 948.4mAh average over 5 cycles... additional cycles beyond 3 doesn't seem to add...
almost complete charging up the Cells going to deep cycle them to try and extract more power out of them
only had one cell that expanded slightly by 3mm already returned to normal
the A/C is like having the house A/C but inside my suv
Yeah keep isolated from the other 12V system
Don't bother try to get a HIGH OUTPUT Caddy inverter because they're VIN encoded
the lowest cell so far was 7.5v to 6volt = 98mAh 1.50% of the original cell capacity of 6500mAh LOL
I have aggressively been attacking that cell with cycling it's at 900mah now..
the weirdest thing is the cells are not even getting warm or hot that is a good sign of low internal resistance
doing great i have almost enough saved up to get the engine replaced got 7500$ out of the 8300 unless you guys know were i can get one of these JASPER engines for a better price?
then i'll save up for the NEW battery :D 3-4 months at the most to get it saved up
I pulled the battery Didn't found any bad modules with low voltage..
Right now i'm cycling the modules individually
*Note: module #2 and #3 was charged in serial and rose in voltage so capacity on results may differ slightly.
(testing settings on how to work the charger) asetek symbol was...
Self bricks
most likely the fuel pump got damaged the fuel keeps the fuel pump cool
OP ran out of gas and thermal shocked the fuel pump motor with the cold gas
He should have waited 50min 1 hour before adding the COLD fuel to the gas tank
Couldn't get it started couple of weeks ago
Yes I understand there is high voltage inside I bought PPE (Personal protective equipment ) for this 1,000 volt rated linemans gloves and the protector gloves for the linemans gloves
i think the battery pack is stuck or maybe i missed a bolt...
most likely a few pins got pushed out on the transmission this happens VERY often on GMs that would take the CAN bus down they got a GOOD DEAL what ever they bought it for
this has a casting part# of 12568952 it's a down tuned LS2 engine with extra steps though
No wonder they want my engine so badly they want to steal my LS2 block
