    Maybe poor maintenance too? Pushing limits on an oil change interval is always asking for trouble. It's just not worth the risk. Either bite the bullet and change it early or do a few oil analyses to validate your longer intervals. Not all oils are created equal. Anyway....that's another subject...

    appreciate the info....but what is the cause? these 09s do not have active afm so the whole cam/lifter issue associate with afm shouldnt apply.....correct? is it just bad luck causing the broken valve spring?

    I have a set of 22s that were on my wife's 09 Yukon Denali when we bought it. I went to aftermarket 18s. Not sure where you are located. I'm in Maine. Around 5000 miles on the tires. One is peeling pretty bad. I can get pics if seriously interested.

    Very nice suburban. My wife's 09 Yukon Denali came with 22s. I purchased a set of 18” wheels and tires. Went with the falken wildpeaks. Awesome tires, esp in the snow. I'm on roads too rough for 22s here in Maine. Will be selling the 22s this spring.

    I put in a set of beamtech LED bulbs in my mom's new Wrangler. They are a great upgrade. Have great reviews as well. $40 for the pair. I bought a pair to out in the wife's Yukon. Just haven't had time to out them in yet. Look into them.
