Cant be anymore clearer lol ill just stick to the OEMs for ease of use, and just to get the ball rolling on the NNBS. Looking forward to your progress, this hopefully will be a way for me to stop the itch of spending the big money for the wilwoods.
I saw those, and i can see where the outer tab hole looks to line up with the PPV pads, it just looks like dynamics are a wider openings. Have you installed yours already? And what are they going on NBS or NNBS?
No, the PPV 6pots have mounting tabs already formed into the caliper. Think of the 4pot from the 19-21’ trucks and SUVs. They align to the same mounting points as your OEM caliper brackets, the only thing i am sure will come to light will be the centering of the caliper to the rotor, you may...
But what good are the dynamic pads if they dont place in the correct alignment for the pin to be able to slide through to hold in place? I am still waiting on them to come in though. Lol.
Am I understanding you correctly that its the correct alignment? Please do correct me.
So what did you end up doing? OEM? Nevermind, i went back and read through your post and i saw the part number you provided for the kit.
I did also notice with the dynamic stuff it does specifically state “exc Police package” so there must be a difference betweek the GM performance bbk and the...
I kept it OEM for now in a sense due to ease of availability to parts and i didnt want to have to guess with any of the rotor sizing etc etc. OEM Pads are ridiculously pricey at about $536 MSRP. I wasn’t going to go that route, but you seem to have all you need.
This is what i have so far, that i want to put onto the 08 Esky….

Those hoses based/crossed on the numbers i have should be perfect to fit, length, connect, everything wise. My issues is i am wanting them to work on a NNBS 08 Escalade. I have not seen anyone mention anything about lines at all when it comes to this conversion, so i am hoping someone would...
Question, i bought the Centric SS Lines 66500 FR and 66001 RR for a 00-06 NBS because this is what i learned would work with the 19+ 4pot set up, when i found out these PPV 6pot versions were available, i jumped and decided to risk it, but now my complication is i bought a 08 Esky and want to...
Did the drop spindles level it out more? Arent we already dropped in the rear 2inches based on the springs? And why the need for rear shock relocation?
If you are talking about the one under the carpet by the vent, that is the airbag control module, thats the only one that came out of the donor, there is nothing else under the carpets.
Picked up a sweet pair of the 12 way seats out of a 06 Tahoe LT. I have a 05 PPV which came with from what I recall to have a powered 6 way driver and manual passenger. I have read a forum in here about making things work with power and ground but I am not really trying to take apart any...
Thanks @HiHoeSilver
Yea i mean the sway bars......serious bank there for those.
@NORCAL SS i have seen seems to be the man with the answers all over this place. Maybe he can clarify my suspension questions for the Z56 and suggest a kit with either Bilsteins or whatever else he recommends.
